ABG premieres as first CERM Premium Integration Partner

by Matthew Callahan

In the dynamic label and packaging printing industry, partnerships play a crucial role in driving innovation and improving productivity, quality, and service through workflow automation. Recognising the significance of these partner integrations, CERM has taken a new bold step forward by introducing the ‘CERM Premium Integration Partner’ quality label.

This distinctive partner label concept underlines CERM’s commitment to fostering strong relationships with label and packaging printing industry leaders and to promoting seamless workflow integration through high-level partner interfaces.

“All individual software and workflow systems offer a set of functionalities that improve your productivity. But, it’s the interaction between these systems and your MIS Software that creates an extra dimension with endless possibilities,” says Geert Van Damme, CEO at CERM. “Launching our CERM Premium Integration Partner label sets the bar of what could be an ideal partnership and it challenges us to work towards a common goal with all our industry partners.”

Each partnership under the Premium Integration Partner program will be carefully evaluated based on five essential criteria. Of course, each integration has a context of its own and needs to be assessed individually but these criteria contribute to a successful partnership and an effective integration.

These are the number of live customer installations, bi-directional data-exchange (important to ensure seamless data flows between MIS and operating systems), and the quality of documentation and customer support. The fifth one, the level of business automation, indicates the added value and boosts productivity by reducing manual intervention in the printshop.

Leading the way: A B Graphic International

The integration between ABG Connect and the CERM MIS Software – as well as the close contact and coordination between both companies – serves as an inspiring example of how such partnerships can drive innovation and increase operational efficiency, ultimately leading to enhanced business output.

Geert Van Damme explains: “A B Graphic International has proven that they have taken the integration vision seriously in the last decade. They’ve re-engineered the complete backbone of their software, they’ve successfully launched customer prototype projects, and – most importantly – they’ve wrapped it up in an off-the-shelf automation product. We can only hope that all industry partners follow their example.”

“CERM and ABG have a lot of synergies and it’s been a pleasure to build such a constructive and beneficial working relationship that allows us to deliver a level of automation that is unique to the market.  We’re looking forward to seeing the benefits this brings our customers,” notes Mark Norman, Technical Director at A B Graphic International.
