James Malone founded Label Power 27 years ago, transforming it from a small startup into a leading name in the label printing industry. In 2020, during the peak of Covid Label, Power acquired Action Labels & Nameplates, a company renowned for its rich history and innovation. Founded in 1945 in Melbourne, Victoria, Action Labels & Nameplates has been providing high-quality labels and Nameplates for over 75 years.

It will allow your business access to a much wider range of label and tag stocks and materials as well as in-house label printing and cutting solutions. It will also mean quicker turnaround times as our combined operations will ensure faster production and delivery, so you can get your printed products when you need them.
“In addition, we have opened a new Melbourne Showroom where all our most popular DT, TT and Colour Label printers will be on display.”
Label Power specialises in high-quality custom labels, printers, labelling tools and consumables, using cutting-edge digital printing technology to produce stunning and creative short-run labels. Its state-of-the-art flexographic printing facility can print large-volume labels and tags in up to 10 colours.
Action Labels is known for its expertise in durable and industrial labels, nameplates and screen printing. Since July 2021, Action Labels have also become well-known for quality labels and tags with digital UV-cured printing using Opaque White, CMYK inks and digital matt and gloss varnish effects.
From October 1, the company will be operating exclusively under the Label Power brand.
