Among the inspiring samples showcased were examples of the stunning effects achievable with UV coatings, metallic effects, drip-off applications and tactile haptic solutions. Coatings developed specifically for digitally printed applications were displayed in live demonstrations on its partner ECOLEAF’s stand.
At the innovative drupa platform touchpoint packaging, ACTEGA’s sessions highlighted ECOLEAF – the ground-breaking sustainable metallisation technology for labels and packaging. Paolo Grasso, Sales Director at ACTEGA for ECOLEAF, focused on the technology’s potential to reduce the carbon footprint of the metallisation process by over 50% compared to traditional methods. Setting a new sustainability standard of metallisation embellishment that does not compromise on quality, cosmetics and personal care brands, among many others, are already excited about the potential of this new solution.
