printIQ has announced the latest release of its industry-leading technology: Version 48. Developed for a wide range of print sectors, including wide and large format, commercial print labels and packaging, printIQ is a seamless, end-to-end MIS system that integrates easily with other solutions in the industry to measurably improve visibility, efficiency, communication and profitability.

Based on customer requests, industry feedback and Print IQ’s R&D roadmap, printIQ v48 includes new features and enhanced functionality designed to create quotes faster and more accurately, streamline and simplify ordering, gain visibility into the production floor and make better decisions with customised data.

John Alden, CEO of printIQ, explains that the team has gone to great lengths to provide a comprehensive update that will expand functionality and very clearly streamline processes. “We have listened to our customers in detail and aligned their needs with our current roadmap to ensure printIQ is accelerating in the right direction.

“From the new gang-based estimating module targeting the wide and large format segments to a completely new way of presenting reports that provides clear data at your fingertips in a single click, we are eager to get our customers using the latest version and begin sharing these new features with the industry.”

Print industry service providers are challenged to operate smarter, faster and more profitably. printIQ provides the foundation necessary to reduce manual touchpoints and costly errors, but ultimately scale a print business. With new functionality developed over the last six months, version 48 expands these benefits to widen the reach within the industry.

“While we have a number of spotlight features, we certainly don’t want to lose sight of additions like press-based bleed control, new component options for tiling, a new dedicated workflow to improve the way overs and unders are managed, integration improvements along with new integrations, and so much more,” added John Alden.

Spotlight features:
Gang-based estimating – This functionality quickly and accurately generates complex quotes for rolls and sheets in large and wide format segments. Added advanced algorithms impose multiple items on the substrate to provide a visual of the layout the estimate is based on.

Next-level promo products – A new look and feel for apparel customers, who can easily search, fine-tune pricing and streamline the ordering process of promotional products. This will move customers through ordering much faster.

New orders board: This board allows staff to gain visibility over large orders without having to look at every job or sales item. It serves as a gateway to the items on a specific order and allows them to complete common tasks.

Reporting made easy – A new reporting menu gives single-click access to important reports. It is completely customisable, and users can add, rename, and order reports based on priority.

Additional features to note: IQStore and inventory updates; Automated purchase order creation; Configure settings and terminology; New middleware application for ease of integration, Kapua Sage 200 integration.
