At the Coleman Group in Sydney, a family-owned business now in its third generation, the partnership with Durst printers has played a crucial role in their growth. Their journey with Durst began in 2007 with the acquisition of their first Rho printer, marking a significant step in enhancing their production capabilities.
“We got our first Rho 800 in 2007, and we still have the Rhotex 325, Rho 512R, and Rho P10, which are still going strong after five and a half years,“ said Glen Coleman.
Recently, the company added a P5 350 HS with six colours and a P5 TEX to its lineup. “With five Durst printers now, we can better meet our clients’ demands for high quality and quick turnaround,“ he continued.
The P5 350 is a hybrid solution for roll and board printing up to 3.5 m and reaches a productivity of up to 708 m²/h in the high-speed version. Fast media change, easy maintenance handling, and full safety render the printing process more efficient. Quality is paramount for the Coleman Group, especially since much of its work for exhibitions and events is viewed up close.
Product Manager David Morrison emphasises the reliability of Durst printers. Quality has no longer been a concern since they purchased these printers. Everything they print meets their clients’ expectations. “They are not gonna let me down, and I can go home and breathe easy,“ he said.
With cutting-edge technology, impressive speed, and local technician support, Durst printers have enabled the Coleman Group to excel in providing top-notch quality and service to their clients.
The latest P5 350 HS includes the same unique features of the P5 350, including the ability to use versatile multiroll and the multitrack 6 option. Users can even load rolls during printing to reduce setup times and increase efficiency. It can also be configured with up to nine colour channels, including light colours, white and varnish, for special multilayer printing applications such as ‘Day & Night’ and ‘In & Out’, and up to 12 layers of hapt printing.
Its UV technology enables it to print on diverse media up to seven centimetres thick and 50kg on a sheet and up to 350kg on a roll media. The machine can print on textiles, acrylics, polymers, paper and even on corrugated in single and dual track mode.
