Jet Technologies makes LabelExpo Southeast Asia debut

by Matthew Callahan

Jet Technologies first-ever participation in LabelExpo Southeast Asia (being held May 8-10 in Bangkok) marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth across the region. With roots dating back 45 years in Australia, Jet Technologies has steadily expanded – first into New Zealand, then establishing a Southeast Asian presence in Indonesia in 2013. More recently, the company has extended operations into Vietnam, and is actively working across Malaysia and Singapore.

“LabelExpo Southeast Asia is going to be a fantastic event,” enthused Malki. “We’ve got a great lineup on display, and it would be well worth the effort for our Australian and New Zealand clients to make the trip to Bangkok to see what’s happening in the region. We’re showcasing an extensive range of equipment that will make the visit worthwhile.”

At over 150 m², Jet Technologies’ stand will feature the 10-colour OMET iFlex, the company’s best-selling press in Southeast Asia. Renowned for its simplicity, reliability and versatility, the iFlex is a standout platform for a wide range of label applications. In the ANZ region, OMET is represented by Currie Group.

Jet Technologies will also debut its JetiQ brand at the show, a collaboration with Polly Automatics, featuring the JetiQ M370 finishing machine. The M370 boasts two semi-rotary flexo stations, a robust flat-bed die-cutting station, and the Versatex Digital Print Bar – ideal for digital embellishment and high-build varnish applications.

Australian printers may already be familiar with the Versatex Print Bar from Jet’s Sydney demonstration centre, where it received strong market feedback. The ability to add digital embellishments to labels offers a powerful opportunity to elevate the value of every print job.

Also on display will be the JetiQ SRI450, a high-performance slitter/rewinder paired with a Luster inspection system, enabling attendees to witness the full label production process – from printing and embellishing, to inspection and finishing – live at the event.

Jet Technologies product specialists will be on hand throughout the exhibition to answer inquiries about the company’s comprehensive product range, including inks and coatings, Kocher & Beck tools, SPG screens, Asahi plates, and Flexo Wash solutions.
