ORAFOL is one of the latest companies to confirm its participation at PacPrint. The media supplier offers a comprehensive range of technical adhesive tapes, including transfer, double-sided, foam, and splicing tapes. Available in a selection of constructions with different types of high-performance adhesives, they guarantee excellent functionality and adhesion on a wide variety of surfaces to meet the most diverse customer requirements.
ORAFLEX® Cushion Mounting Tapes are highly resistant to the solvents used in the flexographic printing industry. Their multi-layer construction with modern pressure-sensitive acrylate adhesives makes them an excellent choice for photopolymer plate mounting for flexography and letterpress. The specially developed adhesives offer different levels of adhesion and suitability for repositioning.
The ORAFLEX® 113 series comprises double-sided cliché mounting tape with film carrier and natural rubber adhesive for mounting photopolymer and rubber clichés on films, sleeves or metal cylinders in flexographic and label printing.
Other ORAFOL adhesive tapes demonstrated at PacPrint will include ORAFIX® and ORABOND®, which optimise critical processes like flying splices, core starting and roll end securing.
The newly released ORAFIX® 1250QS (Quick Splice) is a high-performance splicing tape that offers high efficiency and performance in paper production, converting and printing. Its innovative design guarantees ‘Quick Splice ’preparation and secure roll closure during high-speed splicing operations, thus avoiding problems such as pre-opening the splice and air traps in the rolls.
ORABOND® 1375 and 1377 are highly transparent tapes with a pure acrylic adhesive and a moisture-stable PE-coated brown kraft liner. They have excellent slitting and die-cutting capabilities.
