Latest Schobertechnologies updates on show at PACK EXPO 2026

by Matthew Callahan

Rotary cutting, creasing, punching and stacking machines will be the highlight of the Schobertechnologies booth at PACK EXPO 2026. The exhibition will take place October 18-21 in Chicago at McCormick Place Convention Centre in Chicago.

Visitors will be able to see inline modules, processing and converting lines Type SPC for production of liquid packaging blanks or rollstock. Inline register-accurate creasing, perforating and die-cutting is achieved at operating speeds of up to 800 m/min on a maximum working width of 1,800 mm with the punching waste removed safely.

Cutting and creasing cylinders in segmented design will be on show. Depending on the materials to be processed, the segments can be made from different steel types (LL, HSS, SuCR or TC). For the anvil cylinder different types of finishing are available like Chrome- or TopCoat plating.

A punching module with integrated slitter for the production of corner roundings will be of interest to manufacturers of tea-tags and -bags. The immediate length cut after punching enables an extremely precise alignment of the punching profile.

Also on display will be a creasing module with quick lift-device and wedge adjustment for the regulation of the crease depth, equipped with solid or segmented creasing cylinders. For medium and small runs, individually manufactured magnetic cylinders with exchangeable creasing plates are suitable.

Attendees are encouraged to bring samples, photos, drawings for specific projects for discussion with Schobertechnologies staff.
