As well as showcasing its latest innovations and partnerships at this year’s Labelexpo, DuPont™ Cyrel® Flexographic Solutions will use the leading European labels event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its groundbreaking FAST thermal processing system.
From 16-19 September 2025, the DuPont™ Cyrel® team will demonstrate how its entire range of flexo solutions delivers excellence to labels converters through innovation and collaboration. “With the DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST 1000 TD at the heart of our display, we’re excited to meet with Labelexpo attendees and present the future of flexo innovation alongside our ‘25 Years of FAST’ celebrations,” said Jan Scharfenberg, Business Leader EMEA with DuPont™ Cyrel® Flexographic Solutions. “We will showcase how the innovative FAST system, our entire range of flexo solutions and a number of exciting partnerships benefit customers across the tag and label industry and beyond.”
The Cyrel® FAST 1000 TD system uses dry, thermal technology to process high-quality Cyrel® photopolymer plates, eliminating the need for solvent, enabling sustainable flexographic plate processing. “Building on our legacy of developing customer-driven solutions, the FAST 1000 TD is designed with customer needs in mind,” said Jan. “It is easy to install, support, maintain and operate, while at the same time being incredibly robust, extremely cost effective and reliable.”

In line with today’s focus on operational efficiency, the DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST system can reduce platemaking time by up to 75% while the dry, solvent-free process eliminates the need to handle, distil and dispose of washout fluids. Furthermore, relative to a solvent workflow, VOC emissions are reduced by 99.8% and the global warming potential is reduced by 48%, minimising the environmental footprint.
