Konica Minolta Australia has announced the release of the AccurioJet 30000, its most innovative digital UV inkjet press to date. Available from June 2025, the AccurioJet 30000 will redefine colour capabilities, production stability and media handling capabilities.
The unveiling of Konica Minolta’s new next-generation digital press follows the quality and technology of the hugely successful AccurioJet KM-1e series, which has more than 300 installations worldwide. The further developments in the AccurioJet 30000 will maximise value and improve customers’ ease of use. It offers a highly stable, colour-accurate digital printing platform with a more advanced inkjet printhead design featuring patented Dot Freeze Technology.
The AccurioJet 30000 is recognised for its versatile application possibilities that ignite new profitable business opportunities. It includes proprietary edge processing technology for sharper text quality, true 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, and an extensive colour gamut for unlimited creative applications. The B2+ large format increases flexibility and productivity.
The AccurioJet 30000 produces up to 3,000 sheets per hour (sph) with automatic duplex printing without ink drying delays. It prints on paper thicknesses of 0.06 to 0.6 mm on an unprecedented variety of specialty media, including heavy textured stock, canvas, metallics, translucent stock, packaging board and plastics.
With the durability, instant curing and versatility of UV ink technology that the AccurioJet 30000 provides, a wide range of applications are possible. Examples include printing restaurant menus without lamination, maps, figures and outdoor displays. Other possibilities include backlit posters, signage, packaging, tags, desk calendars, direct mail, photo albums and more.
Among the improvements for Konica Minolta’s AccurioJet 30000 are:
- A higher definition (HD) mode available at the touch of a button to improve granularity.
- A new printhead, the HM201, to enhance temperature control for even greater density uniformity.
- Improved raster image processor (RIP) performance by optimising the configuration of the latest central processing unit (CPU) and memory storage, plus waiting time elimination with PreRIP processing.
- New media sensors and a spectrophotometer for continuous image quality and automatic in-run correction.
- Bundled inter-colour mist catchers to reduce maintenance time.
- A machine that is largely operator serviceable, benefitting from new remote support services.
- Improved data processing system inkjet manager with easy integration into existing offset workflows.
- Inline interface for third-party finishing devices.
- Introduction of exterior updates such as new colour schemes.
- A highly stable, colour-accurate digital printing platform
