Ecofoil Digital is an exciting new range of metallised foil board materials that has been specifically developed by Spicers for the HP Indigo, Dry Toner and Inkjet digital print markets. As the only sustainable and commercially viable foil board range on the digital market, Ecofoil offers all the creative benefits of a metallised polyester. but with one huge difference: it’s certified plastic-free and 100% recyclable.
Proven to run at commercial speeds with no build-up of static, it is compatible with all known post-press processes, including folding, bookbinding, embossing, debossing, foiling, UV varnishing and laminating.
The true foil-board substrate gives significantly higher gloss levels comparable to metallic inks or metallic substrates and can be produced in silver, gold and rainbow holographic patterns.
The Ecofoil Digital range comprises Ecofoil Digital SPI: HP Indigo; Ecofoil Digital SPX – Dry Toner; Ecofoil Digital Self Adhesive SPI – HP Indigo; and Ecofoil Digital Self Adhesive SPX – Dry Toner.
It is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
