CS Graphics now exclusive distributor for GEW in ANZ

by Matthew Callahan

After two decades in the ANZ market, where GEW has enjoyed great success with distributor Aldus Graphics, the UK-based manufacturer of UV curing systems for printing, coating and industrial applications has now appointed CS Graphics as its exclusive partner in the region.

CS Graphics took ownership of the core distributor operations from Aldus last month and Mark Andy/Rotoflex, GEW, Maxcess, Rhyguan, DYM, Harper, Polywest, JM Heaford, Graymills, Ashe, i-Echo, DPi and Enercon now come under the new umbrella.

Marcus Greenbrook, Director of International Sales at GEW, comments: “We have built a strong relationship based on mutual trust and our common belief in excellent customer service. This is an exciting development for both of our companies and we look forward to continuing to build our business together.”

At Labelexpo, GEW released its new AeroLED2, LeoLED2, DoseGuard and OxyGuard products. A highlight was the DoseGuard precision control system, which can be used inline or as an offline laboratory unit. DoseGuard is a scanning radiometer which provides a closed loop control of UV dose to the substrate and measures UV output across the whole width of the lamp, when mounted inline. For larger producers with multiple presses, the DoseGuard laboratory unit can be used to assess the UV output of each Arc UV or UV LED lamp, to ensure optimal curing performance.
