Label Power is continuing equipment modernisation plans for its Melbourne facility. CEO James Malone inked two deals with Epson at Labelexpo Europe for a SurePress L-6534VW UV inkjet label press and SureColor S9160 11-colour wide format printer.
He was impressed by the SurePress L-6534VW’s high speed (up to 50 m/min), outstanding finish on a a wide range of substrates – including film and paper, and low TCO as a result of reduced downtime, minimal wastage and maximised productivity.
“The extended colour gamut provides excellent image quality, while high density white ink and digital varnish enhance colour reproduction and increase the range of applications,” noted James. “The press is ideal for producing labels and packaging with outstanding scratch and weather resistance too.”
The SureColor S9160 is designed for high-quality signage production, supporting a wide range of media thicknesses up to 1 mm. Its energy-efficient design and cost-effective 800/1500 ml ink packs help reduce print costs.
